Sergio Pettis has a new UFC 167 opponent in veteran Will Campuzano

It didn't take long to find someone willing to step up and meet Sergio Pettis.

The news that Vaughan Lee had to pull out of his UFC 167 fight with Pettis had barely settled in when veteran Will Campuzano took to Twitter to say he's taking the spot in the bantamweight bout on Nov. 16 in Las Vegas.

Pettis, the 20-year-old younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, brings a 9-0 record into his much-hyped UFC debut. He's got three submissions and three knockouts among his nine wins and held the RFA flyweight title.

Campuzano, meanwhile, brings a 13-4 record into his second UFC stint. The Texan went 1-2 in the WEC as an undersized bantamweight and the 0-2 in the UFC in 2010-11. Since then, he's gone 5-0, including a knockout victory over highly regarded flyweight prospect Josh Sampo.

Lee had to pull out of the fight due to an undisclosed injury.
